Lovely Summer Evening on Lake Michigan Shore


After meeting Maya when she was a bridesmaid at a recent wedding I shot, to say I was excited when she reached out to me to be the photographer for her wedding would be an extreme understatement! Then when she said that she and Aaron wanted to take their engagement pictures along the lakeshore in Manitowoc, I was so happy to have a chance to explore a new area. I have to say that the beautiful beach and marina did not disappoint and the weather couldn't have been nicer.


Adding a dog to an engagement session is always a wildcard. Some dogs seem to have an aversion to looking at the camera, but Nova was super cooperative. I don't think I have had an easier time with the doggy shots, ever! Maya and Aaron's session will go down as one of my favorites and I can't wait for their wedding next fall!
